AGRIUT TOKEN USAGE

AgriUT Foundation Limited

June 2021

Introduction

The following information provides a brief description and overview of how the AgriUT token can be used as of the date of publication. This document will continue to be updated as the use cases of AgriUT expand over the coming months and years.

AgriUT is an agriculture-focused utility token that powers the sustainable development of smallholder farmers worldwide. It provides traceability and auditability into often exploitive and opaque markets of remote regions to foster economic inclusion through sophisticated, transparent and trustworthy technology. It is a highly scalable and distributed token that engages millions of international consumers through direct and socially conscious interactions with the farming communities.

Locked vs Unlocked AgriUT

Depending on how an AgriUT token holder acquired their AgriUT, the tokens may be subject to a lockup period. Locked tokens cannot be transferred or used in any way except in some cases as an Agriward for AgriUT purchased in the pre-sale. All AgriUT purchased during the pre-sale will be subject to a maximum lockup period of 12 months however token holders are able to unlock up to 25% of their tokens early if they meet certain Agriward criteria as outlined in the White Paper.

All locked tokens will be stored in the AgriGata wallet. Once unlocked, token owners may request to move their AgriUT into their own personal AgriUT wallet.

Token Usage

Agriwards

AgriUT token holders may choose to send their AgriUT to a smallholder coffee farmer as an Agriward via the Agriwards website (Agriwards.com). An Agriward is the convenient, efficient and transparent transfer of a reward to the farmer in the form of AgriUT. In an AgriwardAgriUT travels directly to the farmer or producer organisation, bypassing any middlemen and ensuring that the full reward reaches the intended beneficiary.

To ensure all farmers receive an equitable distribution of Agriwardsthere are limits to the amount of AgriUT that can be sent to each individual farmer as an Agriward in a given time period. If an individual farmer reaches that limit, token holders will be temporarily prevented from sending Agriwards to that farmer until all farmers have received an equal distribution. In the case that all farmers reach their Agriwards limit, token holders will still be able to use their AgriUT as an Agriward however this AgriUT will be reserved for new smallholder farmers once they are onboarded. This is to ensure Agriwards are distributed fairly among all smallholder farmers in the community.

Farmer Uses of AgriUT

AgUnity Smartphone & V3 App Costs

Farmers that have received Agriwards will accumulate AgriUT and can immediately use it to pay off their AgUnity smartphones and pay for the AgUnity V3 App subscription fees. The AgUnity smartphones and V3 App are specially designed to allow smallholder farmers to perform and develop a digital record of transactions as well as access a whole range of useful digital services. Use of the AgUnity smartphones and V3 app increases trust and collaboration with smallholder farming communities and empowers users to become more productive in a sustainable way and lift themselves out of poverty.

AgUnity is accepting AgriUT as a means of payment for the smartphones (which are provided to the farmers at cost) and the V3 App subscription fees from the first day of the pre-sale.

Other uses in the near future

Further uses of AgriUT for farmers in the near future include the purchase of items such as a home solar kit. As acceptance grows, the Agriwards program will extend its reach to include more farming communities and more coffee brands followed by other products such as chocolateAgriUT also has the potential for use within the broader farming communities where local regulations allow, such as with local supermarkets, pharmacies and schools.
